Listen, have been listening to your show for a while now, and it's getting better - and don't get me wrong - you are doing a tremendous service to the community. But for God's sake, please I beg of you: retire that theme song. Why not hold a contest for new entries. I'm sure internally it's amusing or significant as an inside joke of some kind. But to the rest of us it's just grating, painful and increasingly, so much less professional than the rest of your show.
Just commenting on the music. In all other respects, you guys rock.

Care to provide any feedback? What makes it grating and painful?
I've always thought of such jingles as not necessarily songs you'd want to listen to on your MP3 player. But rather more so those tunes you can't really reproduce yourself but recognize on the spot when you hear them.
It's more branding than music. My thought is this. If I want to listen to music on my iPod, I'll listen to music and not a podcast.
Just my thoughts...
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, I think! I still have no idea what makes it bad (or good). People said Far Cry Fly had a knack for writing very catchy songs (even though this theme is only half of Far Cry Fly).
I just edited an 8 second version of the theme. That may show up on some future episode.
